      Rado, again, I am not dismissing Chuck's links. I haven't had a chance to look through them but when I have researched BCAAs in the past, the studies have always had subjects that have had only 0.5 to 0.6g of protein per lb of bodyweight. In other words, by athletic standards, way under what we would consider adequate for muscle building. So, the studies could be merely saying that BCAA supplementation is effective IF you don't have adequate protein in your diet. I don't have the dara, but I would wager that the effect disappears if you get adequate protein in your diet. That's my skepticism.

          I can post a lot more. That was just the first page of results. BcAAs causing fights up in the bitch lol. My only point is that while I agree with scrum on the supplement industry, some things are worth looking into after recent studies have shown their effectiveness. As for me I am only typically staying around .8-1gram of protein per pound of body weight so I may end up with the added benefit without having to have a constant full stomach and the associated problems with digestion that follow, just to meet my protein intake. Having abnormal motility disorder and acid reflux makes it hell for me to eat large quantities of food. If this supplement can offset some food intake and offer comfort than I'm all for it.

                I honestly think you are wasting money with this karbolyn stuff. Drink some gatorade or something if you need to, or just add some glucose or malto to water and drink that. It will be just as effective. I looked through their site and their "research" is laughable.

                    How do you incorporate them?
                    What brand/kind do you use?
                    What do you think they do for you?
                    Anyone found a good, economical BCAA supplement?

                    Ill be honest I have always felt a good diet nullifies the need for most supplements of this nature but I am open minded enough to hear what people have to say and share experience wise.

                    MuscleMeds Amino decanate is the best one I've used. Love it.
                    I dont want to leave the gym great endurance boast and recovery seems smoother.
                    My body builds a tolerance to ANYTHING I take so I take a week or 2 off it now and then
                    Vitamin shop brand is economical and decent but not as good as others
                    Yeah a good diet can make this redundant but I haven't found that to be the case especially DURNING the workout. Your not eating a salad while your at the gym and its almost instant results.

                      Think I may have to give this shit a try and see what's what. How do I incorporate them into my preworkout c4 shake that already has caffeine and all that shit in there?

                      I tend to side with scrum here in that its probably insignificant but I'm willing to give it a fair and honest try.

                        I use either TrueNutrition brand, if I have a gift card lol, or Optimum Nutrition's powder form.

                        I only use while I'm working out. I feel a difference in recovery. I don't drink it throughout the day like suggested because I don't personally see a need for it.

                          So the idea is to only drink them during workout? Not before or after?

                          Costco has the ON Bcaa's but it has caffiene and other stuff in it which is a problem because my pre workout c4 has all that in it just not bcaa's. not sure how to incorporate them without giving up my c4. any ideas?

                            If you listen to the ones who sell the shit, they say to drink it throughout the day. As soon as you wake up, in between meals, before your workout, during your workout, after your workout, etc. I don't know about all that shit.
