Damn creatine.

  • Damn creatine.

    Im never taking it again.I I look fatter than hell on it. I makes me hold so much water, Mnips almost look like I have gyno, my pants dont fit. I do get a little stronger and gain muscle but it aint worth it. Anyone else have this prob. I kow most have said they dont but there is no doubt in my mind it is the creatine.

    It is supposed to hydrate your muscles, which is one factor that helps it give you additional strength. If a product does something to help increase muscle synthesis (and creatine does), I like it. If you want to lose the water, just stop taking it and it will be out of your system in a few weeks.

        Yeah I konw. Im just kind of venting;) I went and was going to buy some clothes last night and it pissed me off.

            I am dieting right now, I started creatine last week, made my face look more bloated than it already is, so I stopped it.

            next I am going to try San 's V12 or syntrax swole when I can add more carbs to the diet.

              Damn Im glad to know im not the only one. Last time I brought it up most everyone said creatine wouldnt make you hold water. I cant believe that.

                  I may give this a try. I like the strenght gains and endurance I get from creatine but the bloat sux. I take it every day though.

                    Creatine made me definitely look bigger but in the end, it's really a tradeoff. You look bigger but not very well defined due to the water retention. I guess that you could base your decision to use it on what time of year it is.

                        I have heard good things about Swole V2 (supposedly no bloat). Yeah, I bloat as well while taking creatine.

                          Swole V2 is a good product, I mix it in my post-workout shake along with 23g each of Nectar and Isomatrix Reloaded, and 50g carbs from Ultra Fuel powder.. Love that pump!

                          I take creatine almost year-round, no bloat, never interferes with cutting.. To lose water for showtime, I stop the week prior..
