Ok, I went to the doc this morning to get a flu shot and my blood pressure was 152/92. Normally, it is approximately 110/80 or so but this morning I drank probably 32 oz of coffee with lots of sugar in it. I don't usually drink coffee. OK, so I won't have a stroke today but my question is:

What would be the effect on the cardiovascular system if I was on a ps/ph cycle like 1 Test/4AD (S1+) or a similar cycle at the time? Currently, I'm not but it has occured to me that I could possibly skyrocket my bp if I wasn't careful. Also, outside of prescription meds, what could reliably lower bp when on cycle?

Hawthorn Berry has been said to help with BP.

coffee would definitely give you a temporary BP spike the 4AD could possibly raise your BP if you are retaining water.

Most people who experience high blood pressure fall into a category termed "essential hypertension." That is medical jargon meaning that they don't know what causes it and they don't know how to help it. Taking prescription drugs or herbal remedies in such cases will not affect anything.

In the case of bodybuilders, use of stimulants like ephedra, synephrine, and caffeine will raise blood pressure. Anxiety and emotional stress will raise blood pressure. Remove those causes and the blood pressure will decrease. I have heard that androgens (PH, PS, gear) all increase blood pressure, but I do not know how well documented it is or to what extent it varies between individuals.

            260/190

Went to dentist for root canel. Took pressure, four times, demanded I go to hospital. Now I'm normal, but had been lifting hard and clean for years. But still, I'm on meds to keep it down.

By the way, my dentist is 6'3' 270, with mitts the size of Howie Long .... so one does not question the look. Damn good lifting partner too
