Can anyone tell me whether this supplement is everything it's hyped up to be. As usual it's hard to find any web-based information that's not written by someone with vested interests in the marketing or sale of supplements. Specifically, I've purchased MRM's ECDY-20 which recommends 1 tab 3 times daily.

I started using MethoxyFactor HP based on the advertising, but after reading how useless it was, I decided to save my money. An interesting thing happened when I went off the stuff. My post workout soreness went up at least 10 times--and I am not exaggerating. There is no advantage to me to push this stuff, and besides EAS does not make it anymore.
The point? Did I gain muscle? Maybe. What made the stuff worth it to me is the virtual elimination of post workout soreness, regardless of how demanding the workout was. Additionally, I cannot help but think that whatever was keeping me from hurting was also building muscle. My two cents.
PS: I tried the Prolab EcdyVone Maximum Strength and it did not work as well (if at all) so there is a difference between brands.Last edited by Cogar; 12-17-03, 11:18 PM.

It is very possible that it really helped you in this case. Since it is set up to create a better anabolic environment in your body to synthesize broken down muscle tissue from your intense workouts back into muscle tissue quicker, then you felt sore for less time. Makes sense!!
