I went to vitamin world last night to grab some bars to travel with this weekend. They had MetRx Protein Plus bars for $6.00/box of 12, if you have the vitamin world membership, which is free.

They have 34G protein and 25 g carbs.

Good deal.

Anyone use the Vitamin World brand 5lb jugs of Protein Powder? That is an amazing deal. They are around $28, however if you go when they have the buy one get one half price you can get 10lbs for $40 plus tax. Damn good deal. I just got a mailing from them for I believe January 5th and 6th. 40% off all Vitamin World brand products. That would drop the price of a jug of protein powder to $17.00. Just an FYI

The Precision Engineered 5lbers are 40% off, so those come to $28.77.. The Value Whey 5lb tubs are already $26 each.. I believe they are changing it to 40% off on sale days for Passport members, all other brands (EAS, Twinlab) will still be 30% off..

so the value whey ISN'T 40% off? either way it is still a good deal on the buy one get one half off days. I also got a coupon for $10.00 off for the points I have earned. VW is a good store.

The value whey will be 40% off on sale days, regular price is $26.. The sale until 12/31 is the Best Sellers 40% off, which is mainly the Precision Engineered products, afew multivitamins, and the Met-Rx stuff is 50% off..

Vitamin World bought out Met-Rx in September, they reformulated afew products, their weight gainer now has whey concentrate instead of milk and caseinates..
