From my understanding, policosanol is reputed to reduce the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) and help balance HDL (good cholesterol). This is something to consider when using PH/AAS as they have a tendency to raise cholesterol levels (200+) in the blood during cycles. Obviously, this is a health hazard which over time, could result in high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke and increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. I plan on taking it for a few months and will keep a log of my cholesterol levels over time. It's a relatively inexpensive compound and I'll be taking the sugar cane extract version of it which is supposedly a bit more effective than the bee wax extract version. Anyway, do some independent research and consider it as a valuable supplement to fight high cholesterol levels. Anyone else has any thoughts on this?
