        Why? And how long?

Because I am using it and started with 5mg first thing in the morning and the sides are lasting between 8-12 hours. I have upped the dose to 10mg at this point. On my fifth day. Experiencing lethargy that hits about two hours after taking and spiky sharp headaches lasting 8 to 12 hours. The headaches are like short migraines. Lethargy comes and goes through out the day. First day it was so intense I had to take two napes in an eight hour period.

At a half life of 8 hours, your body would still be running on 1/2-3/8 dose in 8-12 hours. If you develop sides, 1/2-3/8 of a dose would probably be enough to "maintain" those sides. I agree that the half life could be longer--perhaps much longer, but how long a person notices good or bad effects is not a reliable indicator IMO. Actually, someone would need to run blood tests, and I am not aware of anyone who has done this yet.

Well, i was slightly off, Chemo estimated it at 6-8 hours. He was taking in its chemical structure, similarities to other methyls, and feedback from users.

Be interesting to find out. Your right blood would have to be drawn and tested frequently to really know.

4 days? I seriously doubt that.
