  • Abs

Alright no laughing. I知 never enthralled about fitness products sold on tv. But I知 considering buying the ab scissors. I need something at home that I can do to work my abs. I知 at the gym 6 days a week but never seem have enough time for abs. I have a competition in May and need to start hitting them hard. The ab scissors is the only product I could find that look a decent home product. Any other ideas? Different products? They do have a 30 day trial period. If it sucks I can always send it back. I can稚 believe I知 posting a question about the ab scissors.

don't waste your money bro. you can't find enough time to do one set of weighted crunches in the gym? Just hop on decline bench, grab a dumbell and do slow situps on it. add a little twist for the obliques and you should be all set.

all that stuff is just supposed to motivate you by making it easier. i'd say stick with crunches and leg raises. can't beat 'em.

I can find the time to do one set of crunches. But when my competition training starts I'll be doing abs eod. I need to do more then just one set. It can become very time consuming. I'll have to find more time to get into the gym. Just wanted to se if anyone ever tried any "tv" products before. Most of them look like junk but thought there might be one good product out there.

why do you think you would need more than one set. the abs are just like any other muscle. they need weighted sets to be stimulated to grow. just treat them like any other type, forgo an exercise or two just once a week and you should be fine.

You can do a shitload of ab exercises at home and you`ll save money from not buying the junk on TV.
                  crunches
                  leg raises
                  1/4 sit-ups
                  flutter kicks
                  twisting situps
And all of these have different varieties that you can do to avoid boredom.

NOT-not enough said. talk about an insurance nightmare. we have for years sought to make exercise safe and then some nutball invents a round bouncy ball and tells people to exercise on it.
