  • Good training technique?

i just read up on an interesting training technique that i want to try out, but first want to make sure its legitimate. its supposed to help develope lagging muscles. basically you just add sets for that muscle group between sets of another workout. for me, i want to work on my chest more, so id probably add sets off dips to my leg or back day... does this sound reasonable? i dont want to overtrain or neglect other workouts. i currently train 5 days a week. all comments welcome... thanks,
    j

ive done something similar, but i usually dont do it for more than two weeks without stopping for one or two. ive only done it for triceps though, never as large a muscle as chest. in my opinion your chest needs atleast a week to recover from a good workout.

I agree with Jackal.Just train woth more intensity on your chest day or change your routine to shock the muscle back into growing again.
