  • Lower Tricep (near the elbow)

    Guys,

I seem to be lacking in lower tricep (near the elbow)

What exercices would you suggest to build that part?

Ive been doing kickbacks for about 6 weeks but in order to keep good form, you cant have a huge weight.

      Any other ideas?

The lower part is primiarly the locking out portion of a lift. Thy heavy lockouts(like cable extensions but not the whole movement) and/or board presses.

i do elbows out ext with dumbells

To perform the movement, hold a dumbbell in each hand. Now raise the dumbbells up so that they are just above your chest, with your elbows straight out and the edges of the dumbbells touching each other. This is the starting position. Keeping the edges together extend your arms all the way up above your head, squeeze for a peak contraction and lower in the same manner you raised the weight. This movement can be performed lying down, straight up or on an incline.

its acutally weird because for me before i couldnt never develop that part of the arm until i started doing CLOSE GRIP BENCHPRESSES. Those brought out more thickness to the area. WHat also work are single arm scull crushers. But instead of moving the weight towards the face aim at towards your shoulder. That worked great for me too. Its what works best for one, It took me a while for me to discover what really works for me and what doesnt. Give those a try brother.
