I do deadlifts on back day..then on shoulder day I hit shrugs....I was wondering cause somone made a good point. They say if you do dl's then you hit the traps why do it again with shrugs. What do you all think?

I do Shrugs on Back day sometime after deadlifts. Doing a Back, Trap split one day and doing Delts and Bi's together on another. I split it that way 'cause since the Traps and Rhomboids get stimulated when doing other back excersises I don't want to over do it too much.
The Bi's and delts thing is because I feel when I hit curls I feel my Frontal delt head gets hit as well.
Just my thoughts:D

i do traps with back also. traps play a pretty significant role in rows, etc. so training them on back day is usually not a bad idea. however, if your routine wont allow it, then make sure there is plenty of time between your back and trap workouts for traps to be at 100% on back day.
