Last night I decided to max my bench MID cycle because I wanted new target #'s for the MD meet. Heres how it all went down. Had a job interview at 4 that went till 5:30, got to the gym at 6. I normally w/o around 3:30. Now for the benching:
45x10
95x7
135x5
135x3
185x1
225x1(shoulder felt tight and tendonitis started kicking in)
225x3
275x1(shirt)
295x1(shirt)
315---MISS(I was told I paused too long and I was only 4" from lock-out) I was really hoping to hit that. It would be a 10# PR from January. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to max mid cycle. Now I'm pissed and disappointed at the same time. The whole training cycle starts over on Mon. Hopefully at the end of this cycle, the results will be better....
