  • Cuttung up

I know that in order to get gig one must lift heavy weights and keep the reps down as opposed to lighter weighhts and higher reps for cutting, but that is about all that I know especially about the cutting. What is a good workout routine for some one who wants to lean up .

Diet/ cardio is the key. BTW the whole high rep low weight =getting cut, low rep/high weight =big is a myth . Muscle is muscle the best way to build it is high weight. If you want it to show run your ass off." Cut" is the presence of muscle and the absence of fat

all good advice. another tibit of info. Lifting + cardio gets your metabolism burning better than one or the other alone. There for its good to try and get both done per work out.... lift then cardio. or cardio am. lift in the pm. this will help cut you up.

The biggest difference i've seen in muscle defintion in myself has been because of my diet . So learn as much as you can by reading up some of the nutrtion posts and get a few books to read while on the can or something.

I agree. Your training routine doesnt matter, its your diet and cardio that matter.

Well I wouldn't go that far your routine does make the difference, certian exercises just work much better than others. It's just that you get a more defined look when your eating properly and the cardio helps you get the lean body mass we are all looking for

True, takes alot of hard work and a very strict diet to get the abs you want, you can do sit ups night and day but if your not eating right you'll never get em
