  • Are my goals realistic

I've been trying for a very long time to develop a 0.7 waist/chest ratio and a 0.8 waist /hip ratio.

This has been tough because I have wide hip structure and I cannot seem to get my chest to grow very fast. I made the mistake of trying to get a better ratio via cardio/dieting when I was young and realized that my bone structure would not allow it.

The measurements I'm aiming for are:

    chest 52
    waist 36
    hips 46

    My current measurements are

    chest 46
    waist 38
    hips 45

In the last year I put on 3 inches on my chest. 2 inches while I was on a test prop cycle.

The question I have is does this seem realistic? I thought it was but I'm on a tren cycle and I don't think I'll succeed on putting on more than a single inch of chest girth this time around.

    Current chest routine:

Bench press: 2 work sets of 8 or failure
dips: 2 sets of up to 20 reps
breathing pull overs: 2 sets of 12 (some will argue that this is a waist, It helps my flexibility though so I like it)

I also use a shoulder horn to build my rotator cuffs so I have additional support in chest exercises.

I'm switching between bench, incline, and decline every 6-8 weeks.

I usually get soar on the outer sides of my chest. Strength gains and chest growth is slwo though.

I'm asking myself if getting from a 46/38/45 to a 52/36/46 is reasonable. I can get the hips and waist at those measurements easily, but I'm beginning to doubt I'll ever be able to build my chest that far.

Any one else work for a goal like this and reach it? Is 6 inches of additional chest girth too much to ask for?

Adding 6" to your chest will take a long time, if ever. Your genetics are playing a critical role in how big your chest can get. Stop worrying about inches, just work out and eat right right and take what nature will allow. No amount of training, gear or whatever will allow you to be bigger than your genetics will allow. Unless you alter your genetics with something like Long R-3. BB
