  • Working out quads/hams on different days

Hey guys, ive made posts on my legs not making progress. OK, i came up with this, how about if i work out the quads on mondays and hams on thursdays. Will that be a better choice since i was only doing 6 sets total for quads and 6 for hams. Giving me more time to kill the legs seperatly. Like this:

    Mondays
    Quads

leg extension warm up: 1-2 sets (light)

squats: 1 warm up, 5 heavy sets

front squats: 1 warm up, 5 heavy sets

leg extensions: 5 heavy sets, 1-2 drop sets

    Thursdays Hamstrings

lying leg curl warm up (light)

stiff-leg deadlifts: 1 warm up, 5 heavy sets

lunges: 5 sets (one leg at a time)

lying leg curls: 2 mid, 3 heavy sets, 1-2 drop set

Is this too much for each body aprt or is this an ok routine. Im tired and not making any good progress on the one i got right now. What u all think

Question? I can't get my squat and my deadlift poundages to increase at the same time. It's either one or the other. Lately my squat has been going up and I'd like to keep it that way. But, I haven't had enough gas left to do hams after squats and leg press. Should I start training quads and hams on different days or wait until my squat weight plateaus. Any advice????

I always do hams first. Then do squats and it doesn't seem to bother increase in strength.

How heavy do you do hams and with how many exercises?
