I need a new way of doing legs. Somedays i do the leg press machine, and some days i do the squat machine. do most of you do both in 1 day? after either press's or squats i am ready to call it quits at the gym, put i thow in some heavy leg extensions+ weighted lunges. ive been doing quads 1 day and hams another day, but squats are quads and hams arent they? Making it easier for me, think someone could post a good leg workout for me?

i do all my legs in one day. Im feelin it the next day but i know i dont over work because i can still walk with just some pain n soreness though nothing to cry over. Here is my w/o
Calf Raises
leg curls
leg extensions
seated leg curls
leg press
squats.
Some ppl say its too much but i think its just right. I target em all and get a nice soreness the next day which tells me i didnt over do it but i definitly worked em all out.

yes start with squats first unless your prexausting your quads. i also do hammies on a different day or they cramp up for some reason.Originally posted by Slashmonay

sorry forgot about your first question i do both the same day. sometimes i mix in hack squats instead of presses. but they hurt my knees so just once in a whileOriginally posted by Slashmonay

i do my legs in one day - may need to split them into 2 different sessions - but still same day.
quads:
squats, leg press, step ups, extensions
hams:
glute/ham raises, stiff legged dead lifts, smith machine lunges, butt blaster
heavy - go heavy - go heavier - and go even heavier than that.

I go all legs in one day as well but, only three sets total as heavy as I can go each set.
leg press
calf raises
ham raises
them the following week changes it up with some squats in there

i do hams on a different day-
for quads i do
squats - 2 working sets
hacks - 2 working sets
leg press - 2 working sets
lunges -- 2 working sets
i do heavy weights high reps with a static on the end of my second sets - imo its the only way quads will respond
