Dive into the Nutrition thread...there is a lot to be learned there...as for training...keep it basic at this point ...work COMPOUND exercises (movemnts that involve multiple joints --Bench press, squats, pullups, deadlifts etc). Dont focus too much on "isolation" exercises at this point...Remember HHH had to begin somewhere and has listed his workout as an advanced lifter, with an enormous ammount of base size and experience.

Mags... like muscle and fiction? I'm sorry I started out with my nose in the mags a very long time ago as well...they are great for motivation and keeping up with the sport and one other thing....oh yea SELLING MORE COPIES! The workouts listed in the mags are usually designed to be short lived... not that this is a bad thing for everyone (at least they usually do an above average job teaching a variety of movements.

With your stature...you do have an advantage...when you build...you should build fast...and since you have a lower center of gravity you should become very powerful as well. If I may I would like to suggest a new role model (other than the WWE Giants)---Lee Preist! He is amazing...look him up!

Stick with it... you at a great age to get serious...your body will take some time now to let your Muscles grow...at an increasin grate as you enter the next few years.

      keep it up!

Food is key bro. I will lay out a sample diet for you to gain some weight.

Meal 1. 3 Whole eggs mixed with 6 egg whites. Scrambled. 6oz bowl of oatmeal mixed with fruit and honey

Meal 2. Tuna Sandwhich on Wheat Bread with light mayo and relish or whatever you like.

Meal 3. Protein Shake and a PB&J Sandwhich on wheat

Meal 4. Same as meal 2

Meal 5. Some type of meat and potatoes. I realize your young so whatever your mom makes is ok.

Meal 6. Big bowl of Cottage Cheese mixed with pineapple.

          Meal 7. Protein Shake

This is just a sample of what your diet should look like. I realize you cant follow it to a tee but that it a base idea. Protein/Good fats/and carbs. Calories is what you need to grow. Eat Eat Eat. Hope this helps.

Also, get your ass in a gym. All the basic compound movements is what will make you grow. Good luck buddy.

Why did you stop working out? Going back to the gym would be a good start. And eat everything you can get your hands on. You don't need to use gear until you are older, and have developed more naturally.

I got ya.... no offence intended...I just got a little burned out from people draggin in some torn out pages from a weider mag and tugging on my shorts in the middle of a w/o (basicly lunch while I worked in a gym) and asking me to show them some of the lifts, or even better critique it ... I just started wearing headphones and putting the wire in my shorts...so I could stay focused.

I do have issue with the mags but like we both agree they are a good launch pad.
