  • Help shoulder problem

    Hey felles,

I was doing incline last night and this morning my left rotator cuff is tender can't raise it all the way up to the side. How do you rest a shoulder when your try to get ready for a show? I can do everything thing else just when I do a press movement.

    Thanks in advance

Hopefully you just pulled or strained it. It should get better with some rest. Try heating pad/ice pack for 20/20 min. 2-3 times a day...If you tore it, you will probably need surgery..:(

Just like DG said, stay away from those movements. IF you feel that area being affected in a secondary or indirect sort of way, try switching to a machine for that movement.

        Hope it feels better!:)

Yeah definately stay away from any of those types of movements. I did nearly the same thing about a year ago, just gave it some rest and was alot more cautious with the rotators afterwards. Maybe when it's feeling a little better try adding some rotator ex. to your shoulder routine to help strengthen.
