You ever hear people say stuff and it just kind of stuns you because it makes no sense and you just let it go? That's basically what it felt like.
but if you knew it was nonsense, you shouldn't go around repeating it...

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Got distracted from this being a public board and was talking to him personally. I went back and re-read alot of it and there was alot I left assumed between him and I.

i think what shibby said makes sense, people with aids have immuno deficiency. if the little immune system they have is used fighting off every little cold imaginable cuz it could possibly kill them, it makes sense that would use alot of energy. energy equals carbs, hence the drinks. aids do run rampant in san fran and shibb is right, i asked the stock lady at our gym and they sell mass amounts of those drinks there.....

so 30 grams 7 times a day huh. i eat alot of bars and protein shakes and really only have real food for lunch and dinner, maybe a couple bannanas and a couple yogurts a day. should i be eating different stuff? like can my body only recept a maximum amount of protein through that manufactured shit? should i have more "real food". i have been eating hardboiled eggs in the morning, which i think is helping. i've gained a pound since i put this post up and lost one percent body fat, im now at 9.7. i will try to get a pic up asap so u guys can see im not bull shitting

i'm sorry - if you really want to learn, don't listen to the "lady who works at the pro shop" because she's obviously a moron.

#1. you are giving into the misconception that AIDS is only a gay man's disease and therefore "rampant" in san fran. recent statistics show that AIDS is mainly a growing disease in poor black communities.

#2. it makes no sense that people with AIDS would need a carbo force. they sell mass amounts of the drinks because a lot of people like the energy it gives them through the workout. not because they have AIDS. if AIDS patients need anything, it is nutrients that give them energy. not sugar. i don't know enough about the wasting disease associated with AIDS but i can tell you that it makes no logical sense that Carbo Forces would be used to help combat that.

#3. go complain about that lady at the pro shop because she's spreading mumbo jumbo and making her and the gym look like idiots, especially if trainers at your gym are going around telling people that Carbo Force are for people with AIDS.

                eat more real food.

and you should be aiming for more than 30g's of protein. 30 grams is about 3oz (cooked) of chicken. that's like 3 bites. 1 cooked chicken breast is about 5oz. that's more appropriate and if you're bulking, should be eating closer to 2 chicken breasts per meal.

ok, so then my question is can i just eat chicken all day? like can i go: shake, then one hour later 2 chicken breasts, then an hour after that a bar, then have chicken again? or is it possible to over kill on that too

it's not possible to "overkill" on chicken, the only thing is you'll probably get sick of it no doubt.

but just eating chicken isn't enough to help you build muscle. you also need fats and carbs.

if i give you an eating timeline, you give me an example of what you think you want to eat, we work from there.

what kind of bars are they? how many do you have a day? i try to stay away from bars.

what time do you get up?

you should eat every 2-3 hours, i'm on an approximately 3 hour "feeding" schedule.

                      5AM
                      Gym
                      7AM
                      10AM
                      1PM
                      4PM
                      7PM
                      10PM

                      that's 7x's a day.

i don't have a post workout shake, but i eat my breakfast after my workout.

you should get into the groove of eating 7x's a day, get on a schedule. once you're on the schedule, your body will tell you that it's time to eat.

yeah. i'd appreciate that sana. i wake up at 8:30, usually have a bannana, glass of milk and wheat toast. then an hour later a promax bar. then an hour later a shake. then i work out, and have a whey shake immeadiatly after lifting. then i go home and have lunch, usually a big sandwhich, some fruit, and maybe milk. my afternoon eating schedule is about the same as my morning, but add a couple of yogurts to that. then a big dinner. usually chicken or beef, with a salad or some kind of greens and a small amount of carbs,,,but im going to go buy chicken breasts today

lay your diet out next to your eating schedule like i posted above. what times, and what portions.

I would say it's impossible to gain 10 lbs of muscle without gaining any fat, what I would suggest is gaining maybe 12lbs of muscle then find a diet that will help you shed the fat, and based on you being a good trainer like you said then this shouldn't be hard, knowledge wise.
