  • Most hated body part

Which body part do you hate to train the most? Doesn't have to be one certain muscle, it could be a combination of muscles like, arms or legs in general. For me legs is the most dreaded. The weight and intensity is the same as I would for any other body part, but for some reason, training legs is just pure torture. Got to do it though. :agree:

I would say back for purely the fact that I don't have a good pullover machine.

Legs for sure, almost always feel sick and tired during legs.

Same here with legs, I keep skipping out on them due to my shedule. Will have to really start to get on myself about it

I thought hating to train a body part was because of the pain involved. For you it seems the only gripe is not having the proper equipment to inflict enough of it. Sadistic.

I was just about to write that all you guys were complaining about legs. I love training legs for the feeling of power it gives me. :D

Feeling of power? Having my legs feel like noodles hardly has me feeling powerful. I should have the girl behind the counter help escort me out to my car though. :D

Chest here believe it or not. I have had a shoulder problem every since I started lifting, I pushed way to hard to soon working out with some huge guys at my gym, and the job I do requires allot of shoulder work. I always have to warm my shoulders up very well, and sometimes have to cut a chest workout short due to pain. Legs on the other hand I love. There is nothing like pushing a mountain of weight and watching all the upper body boys watch in awe. I was always taught that if you want a big chest, arms etc.. then you needed to work legs and back. Of course that is not the case, but who wants to look like they are standing on the chickens back??

I can't really say that there is a body part that I hate to train per say.... but I have parts of my body that I have to work extra hard to get a noticable improvemnet. For me, it's chest. I train chest on Tuesday and Saturday to go the extra mile.

wow most of u all hate legs. I love doing legs. I love the feeling of when u know ur getting stronger and stronger. I everytime on the leg press machine when i know its too light i add some more weight. To tell u the truth Ive never done the vertical leg press machine with plates like i am doing it now. I would use the horizontal one but that aint jack. Since I started in the gym about a month ago, im up too 9 45lbs-plates on each side. Which to me is alot cause ive never done them like this. Im doing 810 on them.

For worst part, i really dont have one anymore since i joined the gym but i gotta say the back is where i am like "oh no not back".

I'd have to say for me it is Delts... I tore my rotator cuff in High school playing football and it has never been the same since.

So everytime I think about shoulders, I have to remember not to push to heavy in fear of really messing them up and not being able to do Chest, Back or Bi's because of it.

Legs are my favorite for me.

810 on the vertical press? I can only do that on the 45 degree press. I've come to the conclusion yesterday, that I just hate training in general. I think i'm just going to stay home and do 12 ounce curls all day. :drunk:

Well not really legs...but CALVES!!!!...SERIOUS I squat just over 500 (shhh GS and all you gym lifters) and have 28" thighs...to go with my 16.25" calves. I am gonig to have to start wearing capri's or something ghey like that every where so i get tired of people making fun of them. Have any of you seen the roller coaster called the "shockwave" in dallas??? well its on spikes...that's pretty much what I fucking look like!

It just is a slow growth area...I train with intensity...but with a bad attitude about it...they know I hate them so they pout and dont grow.
