alright - first off I keep my leg days very straight forward and I do not go over 12 sets - that being said, I cannot keep my fcking food down, by the time I end off w/lunges I almost always end up in the bathroom puking. Normally I have a shake right before I lift (15-20 minuets) and have a full meal about an hour before that, will dropping either of these help? Reason I ask is it seems useless to force feed more food down my throat just to have it coming back up. I normally do legs in the AM so I'm not wasting 3-4 meals but still, food is food. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There's no way I would have enough energy for my legs w/o eating. I used to have similar problems, so I give myself 45-60minutes after eating to start my workout. I guess after I do light warmups it's always about 60minutes before I really get lifting. That has helped a lot. Also make sure you're taking whey protein before lifting-it's much faster absorbing, so even if you do puke you'll optimize the amount of protein that you absorb. Carbs on the other hand should be low GI so that the energy lasts throughout the workout.
Another thought is to perhaps try solid food instead of a pre-workout shake. I know some of the shakes I drink don't stay down as well as something like a bowl of oatmeal.

To be honest, if i eat solid or liquid food it all makes a nasty reappearance in the gym on leg day; the only way I have found to be able to cope with leg day is go first thing in the morning. Even a cup of tea beforehand will make me feel very sick during the workout
