  • Just got back into training

after a month layoff. I got a question. As for the rest of the body im doing 3-4 different exercises for each with 3 sets of each, mid weight.

The thing is i did legs tonight after a month. I did this a while ago 1) leg extensions 2 light sets, 2 mid slow paced reps
    2) squats 2 light, 2 mid paced reps
    3) deadlifts 4 sets with light weight 135lbs.
    4) lying leg curls 4 sets with 45plate only.

I felt the burn in each rep i did since i hadnt done them in a while. Is this the right way to do them or more or less. The most layoff ive had was a week or 2 but not 1 while month.

Bro the layoffs are a bitch getting back into the game after such a length of time can be mentally tough as well. But your regiment seems right at pace compared to your extended delay. But since you have the warming phase of your muscles out of the way.Now you should start by getting back to the heavy iron again at a rate that you probably where at before.Muscle memory is a dormant component for the times you have to quit weights for a period of time.
