I believe concentration curls should do the trick....I think preacher curls can help out with peak as well.

Focus on contracting the muscle hard at the top of the movement

Isn't the peak in the biceps deteremined more by genetics than anything?
I have very good peaks in my biceps and I haven't used concentration curls or preacher curls much in my routines.... I also have friends that do them alot for the sole purpose of getting the peak and they have full muscle bellies but their biceps are more flat.

This is more a question than a statement.

Genetics more than anything deal with the peak in that area. Some people have the shorter more softball shaped biceps, while others have longer football shaped and can't get that peak... me being one of them!!! and yes it sucks hardcore

You can only make your biceps bigger, which in return may make your peak appear larger...You cannot re-shape the muscle and specifically add a peak. Peace

Doesn't the preacher train the muslce lying below the bicep more than the bicep itself. I know is sounds silly, but there is a very small muscle under it, some weird "b" name. It, when developed, pushes the bicep up and gives the peak we all want. lol. Sling

                Developing the brachialis helps.

Do hammer curls or reverse curls.

Like the other muscles of your body, the peak of the bicep is strictly determined by your genetics. You can always add size to muscles but you can't really do much to change their shape. Lots of times, you can see such similarities between adults and their parents' physical builds. People with smaller joints also appear to look bigger when putting on mass than people with larger joints. A good example is when a smaller guy appears to have bigger arms than a bigger guy even though the tape measure says differently.

Doing preacher curls will add to the lower end of the muscle and will "close the gap" so to speak for people who have the appearanc of space between their bicep muscle belly and the inside of the elbow joint area.

I think that the "b" muscle that you're trying to name is the brachialis <sp> muscle. Reverse curls will help build these muscles.

Genetics is 95% the answer. I have had a peak on my bicep since I was 10 and my dad has the same shape...Working out makes a muscle bigger and fills out the shape, but that shape doesn't change.

^ like stonecold said genetics. Ive always had the peak ever since i was a kid. I know this huge friend who has big arms and no peak. But u can give these a try

                      concentration curls
                      cable concentration
                      preacher curls (db or bb)
standing curls on the (cable cross overs) (worked great for me)
                      hammer curls

                      thats what i do

just the luck of the draw I guess.....
