    I was talking to a trainer who reads on a lot of books about nutrition/training, and he said a good way to jack up your bench is to do Fast Paced movements with 50% of your 1rep max. Just Push that shit as fast as you possibly can. he said this is the strategy a lot of powerlifters use. he said to do that every other chest workout, and then do sets of 3 reps at failure, for 6-8 sets. anyone agree with this? sounds interesting i am gunna try it.

    There was an article recently (I think in M&F) about powerlifting. The article said that they would do benching twice a week. Once would be a heavy slow day and the other would be much lighter and faster reps like you described. They claim that they recover faster and they they also work the slow and fast twitch muscles better that way.
    I'm sure you'll feel it after the first time you do the new technique cause any change is going to be a shock to your muscles.
