    wassup guys i need help with something. Now I've been going to the gym for aboout a month now and im seeing progress slowly but surely. The thing with me is that i am real soft. When i say soft i mean it. You poke me im like a marshmellow. Now im 5'9 160 pounds. My bf percentage was at like 16 or so when i checked. now i am not fat in the sense, i look skinny but im real flabby and soft. my thing is how can i go about achieving a leaner physique? if u poke me your finger wont got all the way in. it dissapoints me a bit because even the results im seing like my biceps getting a bit bigger and more cut are also soft.

    Simply puting on muscle mass will make you look leaner. I usually sit at about 14-15% BF. OTher than a little bit of a gut, I look leaner than that. In fact, my gut is actually quite solid too. lol

    Alot of society's problem is they have a bad diet. Cut out sugars, take in more fiber and grains, pick up protein and you should be gaining lean mass and cutting BF in no time. Add some light cardio and things will go even faster.

      I would go on a strict cutting diet and cut down to around 10%, then start bulking. if you stick to a disiplined cutting diet, and cardio a few times a week, you BF should be gone in no time. then start adding muscle.

        ok i gotchu on the diet part im a get clean with that. Now as far as workout goes should i change how much i work out like sets reps cardio you know?
