  • How do you do cable rows?

Do you keep your upper body fixed or do you lean foward a bit then back?

I see people in my gym using both and pics online use both too.

Whats the difference between them and which is correct form?

I personally think that any back motion is wrong. I believe that using momentum from lower back motion detracts from the middle back workout from the rowing motion. I would only use the motion on the last couple reps if you want to do cheat reps to get more burn or go beyond failure-its great for doing negatives. But then, if you've seen Ronnie Coleman doing it, I've never seen so much back swing! But Ronnies not human, I would not recommend that for 99% of bodybuilders.

Hes 100% correct. This guy knows lifting. When I get to heavier weights ill use lifting straps. A little cheating (back movemnet) as he described in my opinion reserved for advanced lifters. Small number of ppl.

Yep, don't move your back but also don't keep it stiff if that makes sense...You will obviously have a few iches of movement but that is okay...the most important part is to bring the weight to your stomach and pull with your elbows and not with your hands. I personally like to use a parallel grip wide row to really hit my middle/lower traps.
