i need to make up a new routine. it needs to be around 20 minutes long. i literally don't have any time to workout anymore. i was thinking of just doing 3 exercises with two sets, but i would do all sets to failure. i know i won't be making any gains for a while but i'd at least like to stay where i'm at. normally i wouldn't ask someone to write out a routine for me but i just don't know how to go about setting one up for myself, so any help would be appreciated.:agree:

I'd say that you should make a routine that is based off short rest periods and rest pauses. I am currently doing a push/pull routine that may work for you. This is a little similar to what I am doing.
Mon-Bench-Warm up, pyramidding up to 1 working set with 3 rest pauses on the last set.
Dips-3 sets of BW 1 minute rest between sets
Laterals- 3 sets of 12-15 1 minute rest between sets
Wed-Squat-Warm up, pyramidding up to 1 working set with 2 rest pauses on the last set. (I know, this is hard, make sure the pins are in place)
Reverse hypers-3 sets of BW, rep out each set 1 minute rest
Hanging leg raises-3-4 sets
Fri-Barbell Rows- Warm up, pyramidding up to a working set with 3-4 rest pauses on the last set.
Pullups- palms facing you 4 sets to failure. 1 minute rest
With the little time you have, you may not be able to do arms. This routine is most basic you can do to make good gains though. All movements are to help arm developement.

Re: i need help
ooooo I love 20 minute workouts. and who says you won't make any gains? I workout for 30minutes every 3-4 days and make gains. Its about working out smarter. How many days a week do you have available or how many do you plan on working out on?Originally posted by psyko1
