Torn Tricept

I have torn my triceps! It is about 1 inch short now than the other one and it hurts badly. What can I do about it to get the length corrected? Has anyone had surgery to correct a torn muscle? How long does it take to heal?

If you actually tore the muscle to the point where it has rolled up your arm becuase it's not connected anymore, you will need surgery.
