LOL, I tried it next quad day after that thread and it felt awesome during the workout and the soreness the next two days was absolutely awesome. I don't do it every time cause I love squatting, but I actually did it after some higher rep, lower weight squats yesterday, and again I am sore as hell today! Great recommendation, SC. IMO, most techniques like this are better as an occassional thing than an every time thing. There's very few lifts that I do every week, just things like deads, squats, barbell curls.

with the cybex leg press machine i do this and it kills me...

select a moderate weight that u can handle

1x15, on 15th rep hold for 15 seconds
1x14, on 14th rep hold for 14 seconds
      1x13, on 13th hold for 13 seconds
      1x12, on 12th hold for 12 seconds
      then 11,10, 9 , 8...all the way down to 1

the last 3,2,1 and one are murder

i only do this once or twice a month usually, you'll definetly feel it the next day

glad you enjoyed it...it is an intensity variable so probably shouldn't be used as a regular techinque especially with volume training...I don't have as much reservations in doing them in most of my workouts because i train so infrequently. I would maybe do three leg workouts in a row with the superset and then go back to straight sets for a few workouts.
