  • gain definition in my pecs...help...

Hey I was looking for some advice on what to do for my chest routine. currently i run incline bench, incline dumbbells, flat flies, flat bench. Should I throw in a decline to hit my lower chest more to get a larger lip on my pec? any advice would be great. Its not like my chest so weak but I want it to look better than it is. Thanks for any advice!

Definition for a lifter who has been at the game longer than 6 months is totally a matter of body fat. More does not make definition. Remember, sometimes less is more when it comes to weight training.

Hit dips, flies and flat bench and that should be enough.

ok, my body fat is pretty low. Id say around 11% - 12%. Im still bulking also so once off test it should look better. But ill try less weight more reps. and start dips every week.

If you are training correctly and at 11%, you should have definition there. If you are looking for something specific, it could be a genetic thing. Post up a pic of your chest. No criticising will happen, but maybe you could show us and we can hel you out better.

Well as shortz said it's about body fat and if you body fat is that low you are pretty lean and might be able to see your abs. So if that's the case you may need more mass. The dips or decline could help, but it's going to be overall mass development.

yeah my abs are visible and look good. I will do another cycle and train ahrd on my chest. My arms have got enourmous same with my shoulds. I just need more in the chest area. Im looking to run a 600mg per week EQ cycle with anavar and running clen in sometime.

That sounds familiar. Big arms/delts, chest not quite as good. see it fairly regularly. Most of the time it is that the delts and triceps are doing too much of the work on bench. You might try switching to dumbells exclusively for a while and focus on chest involvement. If I am right, dips will only strengthen your triceps more. This sounds simple, but if you've been benching with delts/triceps for a long time, it's not that easy to get your body to do it another way.

Sounds like more mass is needed. I didn't start to see the striations in the middle of my chest until it started to get bigger.
