  • long head triceps. Help!

I've been noticing that the long head tricep on my left arm is bigger than the one on my right arm which is making my left arm look a little bigger. This is weird seeing how im right handed though. Any advice on how I can concentrate more on my right arms long head tricep? I think when I do skull crushers, I might be using my left arm a little more than my right but I've been good on form lately with help of a spotter but it's just pissing me off because when I wear a shirt, the left sleeve feels tighter than the right sleeve. grrrr. damn it!

Try an iso-lateral or uni-lateral routine, lying dumbell french presses, single-arm overhead extensions, dumbell kickbacks, single-arm cable pressdowns, etc.

incorporate more dumbells and try some cables working each arm individually.

Cool! thanks for the info. I love cable exercises but lately for some reason I catch myself using them less and when actually they give good results.

Most cable exercises provide constant tension and do not allow you to cheat so the muscle can be more effectively isolated. I personally stick to mostly compound lifts for mass, but if one side is lagging, isolation is a good way to fix it.

i agree. i notice my left side stronger than my right on bench press so i always use dumbells. this keeps me from using one side over the other.

Eventually the weaker side will catch up.
