  • Week 3, disappointment..

Ok, here it is tuesday of Week 3 back... did my 5x5 squats and deadlifts and a few sets of leg extensions yesterday, came home with legs of jello certain my evil plans to become quadzilla and break the world record deadlift was working.

but with today comes disappointment! where is the day after pain as it has plagued me for even a few days that has happened the previous couple of weeks???

my legs are fine today, a little tinge here and there, nothing like the crippling DOMS of the weeks previous... Is this a sign that i need to step up the weights?! I added 20 pounds to the squats and 50 pounds to the deadlifts over last week (i was going light initially to make sure i was lifting with good form and not hurting myself) on the 4th and 5th set of squats i failed on the 5th rep, still have yet to fail on the deadlifts..

soreness is not a way to gauge how effective a workout is

my tongue gets kind of sore after a good workout and sometimes...oops, I'm in the wrong forum...my bad
