  • is my routine good or bad?

    My Dad told me that when you lift weights you tare muscle tissue and that your body needs at least 24 (not 24 hours of sleep) hours to heal so my routine is:
    Monday:Upper Body
    Teusday:Lower Body
    Wednesday:Upper Body
    Thursday:Lower Body
    Friday:Upper Body
    Saturday:Lower Body
    Sunday:Rest
    So,I want to know if you guys think my routine is bad or good, and if it is please help me with a new one.

    I am a big advocate of Upper/Lower splits, but the frequency is way too high! (4x a week is plenty)

    Can you go into greater detail?

    Training experience, exercises, reps etc.

      To me it looks like too much cut it back to 3-4 days

        I agree with the frequency being too high. I would lift on Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri.
