I am a strongman(not a bodybuilder) needing to be in a weightclass at certian times of the year. I have adopted the basic principals of a bodybulding diet and have no problem (to date) dropping unwanted weight. My questions are, In your dieting/cutting experiences, @ what bodyfat level do you start noticing a decrease in strength.(I am just assuming there would be, clear me up if I am wrong). Also, what BF% do you think I could get down to(assuming I can drop it to low single digits) and still function as a strongman without having detrimental effects on my strength and athletic ability. I realize there is a lot of variables like me having my diet in A1 shape and my training up to par but for right now I need the above questions answered to see where i stand. Any help/insight is welcome.

I didn't notice much of a drop in strength until I pushed myself below 6-7%, but I am naturally leaner. IMO, the drop in strength comes with feeding your body less than ideally, so it comes with having to push your body beyond it's natural limits, if that makes any sense.
