    I've always had rule of thumbs,,,,if I do movement that causes discomfort or any type of pain,,,I avoid that movement.

      I dont think you understand the condition. Its probably not as bad as yo u think..
      I know, I didn't at the time. I've been reading up a lot and think I'm alright. I will still have to alter my workouts, but agree that a can continue lifting. Right now, my back is inflamed and I can't do shit. I'm taking a few weeks off and am on anti-inflamatory.
