  • Jump Roping as cardio

What are you alls thoughts on this? I was doing cardio on the treadmill at 85% intensity for about 10-15 minutes after workouts and on non-training days going again 85% for about 20 minutes or so. I would also change it up doing sprints at the track and intervals ranging 10-15 minutes.

I interested in jump roping as cardio. Recently started doing it last week. I do my regular workouts and then FOLLOWED by jump roping for 10 minutes with one minute regular jumps and about 30 seconds intense jumping.

Should I stick to this for a few weeks or drop it.

I love jumpng rope for cardio. I used to do it for wrestling and still do it for kickboxing.

Jumping rope is great cardio. I'm not a fan because it's not so comfortable for girls - but I used to jump for a minute between each set - you will definitely leave feeling like you did cardio!!

I love jumping rope too. I get used to it to fast but I like to do it at the end of a run to keep my heart rate up and do something different.
