well it works! yesterday was the second time i tryed it this way and i feel like i have a different pain in the legs today. usally after squats i can only do around 600lbs on the leg press. when starting them first i had 900lbs for 20 reps. (i dont have any more weight) but the funny thing is tryin to squat after. i usally do 455lbs 8times for 2 sets but 225lbs felt like i was gonna die. i will probably do this for 2 more weeks then go back to squats first, but it was good to do something different on leg day.

i never squat first ! always like 5 sets of heavy extensions or leg press - hacks then squats with very strict form - i do front squats one workout and back squats the other - do legs 2 x a week

i do squats then presses. To me, squats hit the whole leg more because you have to use balance and shit and i like to give it everything i got before i get too wore doing presses before squats.
I wouldn't feel like i accomplished anything if I wasn't sore the next day, legs or anything else.Originally posted by Stonecold54"Its a GOOD kind of hurt" lol...don't you love it.

you wanna get some pain going...do a set of medium weight leg extensions to postivie musclular failure then as fast as your legs can carry you do a set of squats or leg press. I would never try squats as I feared crashing to the ground on the first one, lol...but doing leg press after a set of extensions gives new meaning to burn.Originally posted by 1badMFi do squats then presses.
