yeah this is a training post. I am just starting a running program so I have been taking it slow so I DON"T hurt myself. so my second track session the other morning I was planning on just running a mile. well I did my mile and felt great. kind of slow but I have a few months to work up. well just when i am gonna do my cool down a nice piece of booty walks on the track so my man juice kicks in and I am like "I can do a few more laps to impress this nice lady" lol...well I do 7 laps total and the last one I sprint. I felt great. an hour or two later I DIDN'T. my foot started hurting. then it REALLY started to hurt. now its been 4 days and its just starting to feel better. only that would happen to me. perfect running session but I get whacked with a delayed injury, lol. oh well. but I am running with my eyes closed from now on :D

Try dating a chick that also happens to be one of the best division II college cross country runners in the country. I ran with her a few times. I got over that trying to impress her shit real quick.... I love the girl, but I am convinced that she, and all other "runners" for that matter, are insane.
Running as Cardio: great
Running as a hobby or sport: :hmmm:

Running used to be to me what bodybuilding is now - I've run countless 5, 10 and 15k's and even got so far as to run a half-marathon right before I quit - I was training for an entire marathon when I ended up going through some major life changes and just lost the passion because the association was lost - now I just run for cardio (mainly stairs/sprints lately) but some days I really miss it (especially knowing how much work/effort I had vested in it and showed a ton of potential there etc)....
