triceps or biceps first on arm day?

    Probably. But I think also the part of where the contraction of the agonist muscle forces the antagonist muscle to relax, therefore to recover. When you contract your bicep, it stretches your tricep. This may cause the tricep to want to contract like a rubber band. It could all be bs, but I feel the difference though.

          I do them on different days right now too but I think Bouncer is right, if I dont warm my back up even just a little and go straight into bench press, I end up with knots and pain in my back.

            I first begin with 4sets on biceps. 1st set is warm-up, than 2nd-4th i tear them apart. After that i jump on triceps. 4sets with 1st set warm-up than 2nd-4th i kill 'em. I have noticed that when i do tis, my triceps give up fast as hell while my biceps will continue to lift strong. So about 30min into the workout my triceps r pulsating and i can barely do rope pull downs. BUT IT FEELS GOOD!!!!!!
