    is it better to do cardio before or after you lift weights

    Best to separate them, but if you are pressed for time then after is better.

        Can you do cardio in the AM and then lift in the PM? Not sure what your schedule looks like but that is a good split. If you are unable to... then I would weight train and then do cardio. Just make sure not to do cardio after training legs. Not sure how people can do that. I can barley walk out of the gym. Couldn't imagine trying to do cardio after training legs.

          Fat loss = either early AM and workout much later OR pwo...

          Muscle loss = before your workout....

            In addition to the above, when you do cardio before your workout, you have less energy & strength to exert during your weight session.

              yeah i can definitley run in the morning then workout at night
