  • cruise weeks

    i have never been a big fan on light cruise weeks while training. maybe every 6 months. but my new training partner swears on a light week every 12 weeks. i think that is too often. what are your guys opinions?

    not sure about a "cruise week". i think a week off from training once or twice per year may be a good thing though.

      I usually take at least a month off at a time and then one or two additional cardio only weeks split between the rest of my time...

        I bypass taking time off by spacing my workouts where I don't get burnt out :D

          I'm on a 3 day a week push/pull/leg split right now - some weeks have only been twice a week giving me about a 9 day break for each workout ...
