at least he is here trying to learn and improve. i applaud him for that. even though he is a tool. :P

i personally don't think you are training to much. i think your training is fine. i would however change that diet if i were you. you are just not feeding your muscles enough to maintain let alone grow.Originally posted by NewbieChrisSo angry peoples what should I change? Lift 3 days a week and run three days as well?

Originally posted by THE BOUNCERAGAIN. lol. by eating so little and training so hard you are slowing down your metabolism. slow metabolism = your body holds onto all its fat to survive.
But I have it beaten in my head. Less calories ---> Lose weight? Also, I calculated my BMR and I think it was appx 3100, so I figured a 2500 calorie day would be good. No?

read the title of this thread again. what you are doing isnt working.
add in 2 more meals for now. drop shit like pasta and replace it with things like brown rice, oats, etc..
change the breakfast to 8 egg whites and 2 whole eggs. replace the bread with a bowl of oats.
get rid of the milk post workout replace it with grape juice, or better yet dextrose or vitargo.
forget everything you think you know and just listen to me. try it for 1 month and evaluate.

Add in two more meals? That would be like 800 calories if they were balanced with the rest of the meals. I will take out the pastas. I'll look into a better post workout shake as well. I just calculated my BMR, its 3754.405. Thats including a .5 activity factor. I thought that was good. In my original post I forgot to put that I alternate running and doing abs on days I workout. As of right now my only supplement is a multivitamin and glutamine.
What do you think if I ate a 3000 calorie diet? That just seems so high. Sorry if I'm asking the same thing over and over.

what kind of multi? as for glutamine, you may want to read the supplement article section.
also, you didn't acknowledge the water. how much are your drinking daily? very important for muscle and the fat burning process.
