  • Time to TEAR this Jersey ASS!

    HOLLAR :P

Went to see my coach, he was truly impressed. I was scared as hell. I know I had been eating horrific for the last month or so and thought I had put on some bodyfat. I dropped 2 pounds and am now down to 8% BF. Pheww! He was happy with some of the development I have made in thickening my Abs and also my back.. ALTHOUGH I still need to thicken my lats. They are my toughest area. My mid back is NICE so he says and he said that that area is tougher to achieve, so ONE down. He told me to cut back on the leg training, because my lower extremities are gonna overpower my upper.

Time to bring it up a notchola.

Going back in 3-4 weeks and gonna start 10 weeks out for a show in NJ on 4/29 (came back to edit.. wrong date). OH god, I am so scared to get on stage, lol. Well, also scared of what the eating will be like 4 weeks out closer to days out.. me scardy cat!

I am going to bust my ass even if I break it for the next few months. I am going on a small vacation to the Lone Star State next month for a long weekend, so that will really be a rough one and I will have to bring tons of supps to help me ride it out. My last little trip before a show, (well I would also like to go the arnold classic but not sure - everyone is bailing out on me).. GRR!

I am going to focus on alot of ME time. Tanning, nails, pedicure (lol - nothing jersey style) massages, chiro.. anything soothing to help me ride out the storm.. !!!!

So now that I cleaned up my eating quite a bit (i had my cheat meal yesterday CUBAN Sandwich, lol) my skin is doing much better. I had a major break out and suffered some acne last couple weeks. THANK GOD.. WTF, too old for breakouts.

Aight.. anyone with any good lat development/thickening advice stop in and bring it. I did back on saturday.. started and exhausted my lats with pullovers (I love these and embrace them so well), supersetted w seated rows, then right into db rows, pulldowns..

Engaging the lats on each and every exercise, so I dropped the weight...!!!!

kisses cutie pies and stop in for your advice and comments :)

Sounds good. Just make sure you dont get to lean now for a show that is on 4/29. You dont want to waste a bunch of muscle and go on stage looking like a bean pole.

April 19 – Revolutionary Technology Nutrition Natural Northeast America (Pro-Qualifier), Matawan Regional High School, Matawan, NJ. ( i have yet to get all the details. I met the ady that does promo work for this org and is gonna get me more info. I found this online, so I am gonna aim for it).

There are a few others we found that are upstate NY, but those are in May. I am going to start working with my friend soon on posing. He wants me to go balls to the walls to get my pro card.. I just want to have fun. and am starting to get NERVOUS.

people that talk about getting a pro card don't really understand what its about. you have to understand, the best part about bodybuilding, fitness, or figure is the training, the dieting, the fun leading up to shows, talking about it like we do here, etc..

the pro ranks will ruin that fun in a split second. trust me when i tell ya, i have been around that life. good friends of mine have turned pro over the years only to disappear and quit bodybuilding all together. the people involved in the IFBB, the people that run it, are dirty people. you dont want to be around those kind of people. they will suck the life and fun out of something that you hold dear to your heart.

continue to train hard and become your absolute best, but please dont dream about a pro card or being a pro. it is not how it seems. it is the exact opposite of how it seems and it will ruin how you look at bodybuilding.

myself, i am training and eating to be the best bodybuilder I can be. i dont care if i was 400lbs with a 28 inch waist and could blow away the competition, i would never go for my pro card. you have to be a fake person to become a pro, you have to kiss a lot of ass, i simply refuse to do that.

BOUNCER.. you are the man. I will take your words and lock them in my heart. Thank you for this. I have way too many people in my corner trying to knock me into becoming crazy into ass kissing in this sport. That is not me. You know I wish I would've done this many years ago because I always had a a passion for it, but such as life and it slows you down.

Like I said before I am doing this for me. Not for a pro card, not to get wrapped into this becoming an ugly thing as oppose to a fun thing in my life. I train because I love it. It makes me feel good, look good, feel young and vibrant. I eat right now because well believe it or not, I have learned over the last few months, how healthwise, its so detrimental to your body. Not just to have a lean muscular physique, but to live longer and enjoy life more.

I set this bbing goal for myself because of alot of loss I went through last year, so I wanted to do something to bring my spirits up and to add some much needed quality to my life. It has so far. Through all this I have gone thru many leaps and bounds for myself, I feel healthier than I did as a teen forget my 20's and I have made such great new friendships and find everything so much more rewarding now than ever.

I won't let this all get gloomy and ugly. I want to get up there and bust my ass on stage for me, for my daughter, for a better life that I have these days! and of course to shake my ass :moon:

Thats all... I don't need a pro card to prove that I am winner...
