  • Little wieght- Big Size!!!

Ok there is a group that comes to my gym. There huge, have there ears plugs in listening to music I guess. I never see them lift anything heavy. There intesity is at a decent pace and towards end of there routine they might super set.
Whats the deal? Are they a total chemical plant? I have a planned out routine of what I'm going to do and really push myself. I never see these people struggle to get that last rep. One of them has the largest head i've ever seen. Whish i could take a pic. These dudes are just wierd and they barely every speak.
What ever there on I don't want none. Eat this post up guys.:P

there is a guy at my gym like that. he isnt more than like 5'7" or 5'8" but he is jacked as fuck. huge huge upper body and cut too. its a small gym so i can check out the weight he's using sometimes. the most he ever puts on the bench is 185, and most of the time he only uses like 155. he always uses really slow, smooth reps. his delts are even more impressive and the only thing i see him do for those is like 80 pounds on a military press machine and lateral raises with 25 lb DBs or some shit. he must be on something good because this dude is so ho-hum and relaxed whenever he is in there.

"mass training" does not have to include heavy lifting. Sufficient muscle breackdown and fascia stretching is all that is needed to put on size for most people.

These people are what I like to call non-functional tards.

Arent nearly as strong as they look.

I've always been curious about people like this as well. Then there is the ever more illusive tiny guy that benches like 280 something...

i would be a tard then. lmao. i am strong but people seem to think i should be able to bench 600lbs or some shit. my first priority when i am training is to grow the muscle. i really don't train for strength.

well thats because strength is not related directly to size as everyone should know from basic lesson ONE (not picking on you, I just quoted your post, lol). You put it perfect Rado, you train for strength. thats it in a nutshell, achieving strength if very possible and very easy (you see it all the time in the gym from guys who never get big but lift heavier). gaining muscle is about progressive resistance and muscle confusion (though not in the orthodox/weider retarded hypothesis), intensity variables and different stimuli. I will be honest with you, I don't consider myself strong in most exercises but I don't consider my size to shabby for the weights I lift, but its the method of lifting that is different than the "normal" people.

I used to train for strength to make my lifts bigger, now that is back burner.
I have come down alot in my weight in certain exercises to keep proper form, especially when doing back. I use to pulldown about 100 - 120 for a good 4-8 reps. Last night I was rowing 40pd dbs, not bad, but I haven't gone that heavy for my frame in a while. I consider myself pretty strong for a woman, but then again there aren't many women in the weight area.

I can keep up with the men in the weight room and they always ask for a spot ;-)
