Have you ever really defined your goals bro? Are you more interested in cutting body fat or putting on muscle? What would you say your bf% is? Can you see your abs?

I have been trying to get down from 16% for a while now. I don't know why, but I can't do it. I run, and try to eat relatively well. I know my 'cheat' day isn't what it supposed to be. I keep weighing myself and the weight constantly fluctuates at around 225-234. I haven't checked my bf since Jan. I'm going to talk to the head trainer where I work and I think we'll measure it then. I'll know exactly where I am at.

if you weight is fluctuating by 10lbs, that tells me your diet is up and down or something is just not consistent. if you are eating clean doing the same thing day and day out, you are not going to go up and down by 10lbs.

Ok this started as Body typing. Which I use as a guidline where not all 100% one type except for a few peeps. Next thoughs skinny dudes lifting in the gym that say they eat ALOT and they stress it are lying. I have seen what they really do. They will eat protien shakes in the morn but skip carbs. There running 3-6 times a week and having huge energy drinks to get through the day. You tell them to eat oatmeal and they say Why?
Last thing I say is it really comes down to --- Diet, Diet, Diet, you can't get there without a balanced Diet. I was one of thoughs skinny kids and I had to eat over 6,000 calories 200 grams of protien daily to see growth.

What did your diet look like when you were consuming 6,000 calories? Seems like a lot for a skinny kid.

well considering he was only getting 800 of his calories from protein. (200 grams of protein = 800 calories) this rest of his 5200 calories were fat and carbs. lol. not the best ratio. :)

I keep figuring it is my diet, but other than Saturdays it stays pretty regimented and similar to that Friday post. Every once in a while I'm on the go and I grab a chicken sandwich on Penn State wheat roll. How good of a roll it is I don't know.

I suppose I will just continue to revamp and become stricter.

yea, Chris, the fact that you are going up and down by 10lbs really point strongly to inconsistent diet.

what i hear a lot from you is, "every once in awhile i eat this" or "i had a lot to do this day so i could only eat that". i think you have many more days like that then you think. i think you need to plan better. cook or make your meals the night before and take them with you etc..
