fucking psyched. my last few back workouts have been great. I am gonna start off with just a light deadlift (probably just 225 or so depending on how awake I am) but i am gonna try to get to as close as I can to 20 reps (lol, before I pass out). I love the way my middle traps have been looking since I incorporated them back in a few months ago. then pullups are next (Assisted pullups since I am so damn weak on them, I am on the number 8 pin, slowly working my way down to zero on this movment). then it will be on to wide grip cable rows, I love these for middle traps. I pull the weight almost 3/4 of the way to contraction, then I pause and then do the final 1/4 rep and squeeze, INTENSE. After that I am sure I will be worn out. if my grip is not fried then 2 sets of biceps, if it is fried then just one set.

once in a while. for the next 4-6 weeks I am focusing on pullups. I want to be able to do body weight pullups soon and hopefully start adding on weights on a belt slowly. It is also helping me to lose weight as the lighter I am the more comfortable i feel doing pullups, lol. I do love doing reverse grip pulldowns though. Mike mentzer taught me to use the movement and its been one of my favorites for 8 years.Originally posted by dna9488 View Postya dude i know what u mean

i hear ya man, pull ups for me a r a NO NO, i will do like 3 and be like fuck that and walk away. Pull ups also build ur forearms like mad, so at the of the month u should have bigger forearms and should be able to master the art of pull ups.
Those reverse grip pulldowns sound brutal. I might have to check that out.

if you do reverse grip pulldowns make sure you start the movement with your arms fully extended then do what is termed a reverse shrug before you commence pulling the bar down (which in essence you are just contracting your traps before you start the movment, but it helps to keep a good line while pulling down).Originally posted by dna9488 View Posti hear ya man, pull ups for me a r a NO NO, i will do like 3 and be like fuck that and walk away. very true, i personally think diet is important, becuz without diet u won't gain or get into shape.Originally posted by Stonecold54 View Postback, I only workout every 2 to 3 days so missing a day isn't a big deal I just push everything back. rest is more important than working out.
1st diet
2nd working out
3rd rest

Shoulder blade adduction stimulates the most lat fibers possible and allows you to work your rhomboids as well - very good point...Originally posted by Stonecold54 View Postif you do reverse grip pulldowns make sure you start the movement with your arms fully extended then do what is termed a reverse shrug before you commence pulling the bar down (which in essence you are just contracting your traps before you start the movment, but it helps to keep a good line while pulling down).

I could probably, I don't think it affects me. I acutally didn't do deads this last workout cuz I was working out on 4 hours sleep so I did a light workout. but I could switch the order around. I did pretty well on the pullups. on the 8 plate I did my 1:00 of TUT.Originally posted by Mr incredible View Postwouldn't you be better doing pull ups before deads stone?, you'd be stronger then
