probably not, it just looks like a very sturdy belt with the option to rachet the tightness where you want it. In terms of the other belts, read the links but it just looks like different thicknesses and widths. I just need some sort of a powerlifting belt because I'm doing more deads and front/back squats now and the PR belt is the newest thing out
