There's a big article in MD about fish oil and how it's an anti-inflammatory. It also says the anti-inflammatorys can limit muscle growth because inflammation in muscles is part of what triggers recovery.Originally posted by Mr incredible View PostI watched the elite ft previews and caught him saying that omega 3 were anti inflamatory for joints. Thats worth knowing I get knee pain lately

So last night was leg night and I thought it would be "fun" to try that 40 rep drop set. Granted I only started at 235 and worked my way down to 155 but holy shit I can barely walk today. Definately the most sore my legs have ever been. Huge respect for anyone who can do something like that with serious weight. I almost threw up my protein shake!

fish oils anti-inflammatory properties are not even close to something like a NSAID (ibuprofen). the amount of muscle that fish oil would "limit" would not be visible. its benefits are far to great to cut it out of your regimen.Originally posted by Control View PostThere's a big article in MD about fish oil and how it's an anti-inflammatory.
