  • leg workout today

    Yesterday is usually my leg day but the gym was closed for xmas so today i hit legs. my previous leg days i just wasnt feeling like i was hitting them hard enough and wasnt getting the results i wanted. Today is the first day i changed the workout and ill list what i did and sets. I might also have to add some leg exercises on other days i work other body parts but ill let you guys give me input i what i should do. i would like to also note that i spend about 3 hours in the gym so i took no. explode before like i always do before workout and used a recovery drink half way through because 3 hours hitting it hard just drains me so i need added nutrients.

    started out cardio first

    squats, 3 warm ups, 4 sets heavy.
    Leg press, 2 warm ups, 4 sets heavy.
    Stiff leg Deads, 3 warm ups, 4 sets. didnt go super heavy because i just added this exercise.
    seated calf raises, 1 warm up, 5 sets
    leg curls, 4 sets heavy
    seated leg extension, 4 sets heavy

    I felt like i got a whole lot better exercise when i left the gym today. I felt like i hit my legs a whole lot more too. Any suggestions would be great though. If i need to add or change something i will, whatever it takes.

    same here bro, yesterday was leg day but also closed. The owner used to open it till 12pm but not this year.

    That is pretty much also the routine I was following. But just changed up the leg presses for hack squats. I pretty much liked that routine. If kept it for a while but the only thing I would change up was the intensity, supersets, giant sets, or just work them out in light reps.

    Ahhhhh stiff leg deads kill my hams but cant compain cause they grew.

      ill probably change leg press for hacks next time. I've been doing leg presses for a good while now and i enjoy changing things up. definitely going to keep stiff leg deads on my leg days. my hams are sore this morning! I LOVE IT!!

        I had a shitty leg workout day today being all tired from last night. I wasnt going to do them just skip them but at least I got something done. Not my usual routine but worked them out.

        squats: 2X- 20 reps
        leg extensions: 2X- 20reps
        inner thighs: 3x- 10 reps
        seated leg curls: 3x - 10 reps

          that sucks man. i need at least 7 hours sleep the night before legs. Between getting up at 4am and going to work then gym. im dead. but hell man i still feel my hams from friday lol.
