Yesterday is usually my leg day but the gym was closed for xmas so today i hit legs. my previous leg days i just wasnt feeling like i was hitting them hard enough and wasnt getting the results i wanted. Today is the first day i changed the workout and ill list what i did and sets. I might also have to add some leg exercises on other days i work other body parts but ill let you guys give me input i what i should do. i would like to also note that i spend about 3 hours in the gym so i took no. explode before like i always do before workout and used a recovery drink half way through because 3 hours hitting it hard just drains me so i need added nutrients.
started out cardio first
squats, 3 warm ups, 4 sets heavy.
Leg press, 2 warm ups, 4 sets heavy.
Stiff leg Deads, 3 warm ups, 4 sets. didnt go super heavy because i just added this exercise.
seated calf raises, 1 warm up, 5 sets
leg curls, 4 sets heavy
seated leg extension, 4 sets heavy
I felt like i got a whole lot better exercise when i left the gym today. I felt like i hit my legs a whole lot more too. Any suggestions would be great though. If i need to add or change something i will, whatever it takes.
