  • Hitting the chest

Hi i need some help building up my chest. im 178cm 83kg and no matter what i do i can never seem to 'feel the burn' in my chest...its always the front of my delts that seems to fatigue.

Flat bench...cable flys...cable press..none of these ever give me that precious burn feeling i crave so much....any idea's???

Start with pre-exhausting the muscle. Start with a pec dec movement, to blast your chest. Then move on to you compound movements. By doing this, you should hopefully force your chest to fail first.

As well, when you do your presses, drop the amount of weight you are doing, and concentrate on tryiong to squeeze your nipples towards each other

      good advise.
I also make sure I tuck my shoulder blades in to use less shoulders. Dumbbells also give me a better feel for the movment. try D-bells on a incline

dumb bell declines or any decline movement. I worked out for 12 years before I tried decline and my chest exploded! I don't do any other exercise for chest...just decline.
